Meet Your Lakeside Association
The Lakeside Association CONNECTS people within the community, PRESERVES its natural beauty, and CELEBRATES the past, present, and future. Get involved today to help shape and improve your community
The Lakeside Association pursues its mission through the following initiatives:
Events – activities that bring the community together. The Association was built on some of these traditions, and we continue to add to our list of events over time in response to requests from the community.
Gifts – financial contributions to individuals, organizations, projects, or causes aligned with our mission. Our River Valley High School Scholarships are one type of gift. Each opportunity is reviewed on an individual basis and voted on by the Board of Directors.
Projects – longer-term initiatives that The Lakeside Association approves in support of its mission. Each project is carefully evaluated before approval. The planting of the Native Tree Project in the Park adjacent to the Gazebo section of Lakeside Park is an example.
Advocacy – The Lakeside Association may choose to become a local advocate for a cause in support of our mission. The Association will never endorse a political candidate.
